Discover an exclusive retreat where over a century of Japanese heritage meets contemporary luxury. This beautifully preserved 115-year-old residence invites you to experience the quiet sophistication of traditional architecture in an intimate and private setting. Every space has been thoughtfully curated, from the serene tatami room and the engawa overlooking a tranquil Japanese garden to the bedroom framed by views of a historic kura storehouse. Beneath the original thatched roof, an atmospheric attic gallery offers a glimpse into the home's remarkable past.

夕食には郷土料理である「地鶏すき焼き」や冬季限定の「ぼたん鍋」を炭を入れた火鉢テーブルでお召し上がりいただけます。そして春から秋にかけては地元のジビエと黒毛和牛と海鮮をメインにした「極上BBQ」を風情ある石垣に囲まれた裏庭テラスでお楽しみいただけます。朝食には地元の食材をふんだんに使った人気のスパニッシュ・ブレックファーストを敷地内の別棟「クイナ美山」にてお召し上がりください。
FOOD
For dinner, gather around the traditional hearth table with glowing charcoal to enjoy our Local Chicken Sukiyaki, or, during the winter season, a Wild Boar Hot Pot prepared with local ingredients. From spring through autumn, dine al fresco on the backyard terrace, where our Superb BBQ showcases premium local gibier, fresh seafood, and Japanese Wagyu surrounded by a beautifully crafted stone wall.
For breakfast enjoy our famous Spanish Breakfast, served at Cuina Miyama, our charming dining room with mountain views.

At the end of the day immerse yourself in the warmth of the handcrafted cypress wood bath or an open-air bath with a traditional Japanese ceramic bathtub, both overlooking a serene Japanese garden.

For a restful night's sleep, we provide premium bed linens and loungewear crafted from traditional Kyoto-made Japanese gauze fabric. Choose between a futon in a tatami room or a Tempur king-size bed in a bedroom with views of a kura, a traditional Japanese storehouse.

Capture your stay with a memorable photograph taken by the owners of Casa Miyama, both professional photographers. A family portrait on the Engawa, the traditional Japanese wooden veranda, is one of our most popular experiences.
You can also enjoy a photo session at Miyama Photo Studio, located in a separate building on the property. The studio offers a variety of photography styles, including gelatin silver prints, Polaroid transfer prints, wet plate photography, and digital photography.
As our guest, you will receive a 20% discount on all photo session packages at Miyama Photo Studio.
